Experimental Modeling of Pressure in the Hydrostatic Formation of a Cylindrical Cup with Different Materials

Forming complex sheet products using hydrostatic forming technology is currently a focus of the majority processes. However, in order to increase stability during process, it necessary identify and analyze dependency pressure quality product on input parameters. For purpose modeling pressure, this paper presents empirical research cylindrical cup made various materials, including carbon steel (DC04), copper (CDA260), stainless (SUS 304) with different thicknesses (0.8 mm, 1.0 1.2 mm), under defined range binder pressures. The regression method selected formulate an equation that shows relationship between parameters, materials (ultimate strength yield stress), workpiece thickness, output parameter, formation fluid pressure. mathematical allows us determine extent effect each experimental results can be used for easier planning forecasting process forming.
